Accurately measure tyre performance with the TMS External Sensor
Every sensor has its own individual ID code, which can be located on the label of the product. This ID code is transmitted as a signal that is then picked up by the TMS Sensor Reader. As a result, the fleet manager can quickly learn in if the tyres are below optimum condition or about to blow out.
There are two different kinds of External Sensors; the TMS24A and the TMS23A. The former can be fitted onto the tyre externally by screwing it on to a large bore valve. The latter is similar in size and weight, but has a lesser transmission power.
Fitting the sensors to the tyres is a quick and easy process, as they can be installed without having to remove the entire valve system. Once this has been done, fleet managers can measure tyre temperature, pressure and battery power by reading the TMS Sensor Reader.
