Tire Monitor System Ltd (TMS®) is pleased to announce the acquisition of the assets of
SST Wireless, a respected Canadian and US designer and manufacturer of Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS). This acquisition strengthens TMS?s global capability to deliver advanced TPMS solutions for industrial and Off-the-Road (OTR) vehicles.
Founded in 2008, SST Wireless has built a strong reputation for designing reliable and proven tire pressure and temperature monitoring technologies, with long-standing relationships with a number of leading OTR tire brands. SST Wireless products are internationally recognised for their use in heavy-duty TPMS solutions serving the mining and construction industries. They also supply commercial TPMS systems for truck and bus fleets, as well as IoT sensors used to monitor industrial machinery.
The acquisition of the SST Wireless assets represents an exciting step forward for TMS®. The addition of SST?s expertise and product range will further enhance our robust portfolio of TPMS products. It allows us to accelerate the development of next-generation, liquid-resistant sensors and expand into new markets. We are committed to maintaining our industry-leading reliability and accuracy and our independence from OTR Tire manufacturers, while broadening our product and service offering to better support our customers worldwide.
